Nigel Job - Founder and CEO
Nigel founded Remtec Search and Selection Ltd in May 1998, with an objective to provide the very highest level of specialist recruiting services to the Life Sciences and Medical Technology industries.
Prior to founding Remtec, Nigel held a variety of roles (Clinical Applications, Sales, and Marketing Management) within the Life Science and Medical Device industries (Sarstedt, Medtronic, Caledonian Medical/Angeion).
Since founding the company, Nigel has accumulated extensive experience of senior management executive search that has resulted in clients describing his in-depth knowledge of his specialist area as 'unparalleled' in the search and selection industry. Nigel holds a BSc. honours degree in Applied Science.
Ian Sandison - Commercial Director
Ian spent 12 years in healthcare sales and marketing, 9 of these with Becton Dickinson and 3 with Smiths Medical where his last role was Global Sales Director for Hospital Infusion.
Ian has extensive experience managing large sales and marketing groups both in the UK and internationally. He has brought together new businesses, hired new teams and managed many assessment, recruitment and personal development programmes. In addition to his work with Remtec he also acts as an independent Business Consultant to Medtech companies.
John Morley - Director
After gaining his BSc degree in Environmental Science, John spent 3 years as an Analytical Chemist with the chemical company Johnson Matthey. He then moved into Life Science Laboratory sales with Sarstedt before joining Remtec in Aug 2005. John has progressed through the business from an initial research role, through to managing his own assignments and then as a Sales Manager leading a team of consultants. John now specialises in recruiting senior professionals across Europe in technical areas of the Medical technology sector including R&D, Manufacturing, Health Economics, Supply Chain, Compliance and Public Policy. John is now a Director of both Remtec's contingency and search businesses and focusses his time on growing both businesses across the UK and Europe.
Lorna Rutter - Director
Lorna holds a BA honours in Business Studies majoring in Project Management. Prior to joining Remtec Lorna spent a gap year travelling after spending two years working for an IT consultancy as a Project/Office Manager. Lorna joined Remtec in February 2006 as Office Manager and during this time has managed the company administration. Her focus going forward will be to manage the day to day operations of both companies by ensuring organisational effectiveness through leadership for the organisation's financial functions, development and implementation of organisational policies and practices and to contribute to the strategic development and objectives of the companies.
