Global Vice President, Regulatory Affairs

Location: United States or Europe 

Our client, is a world a world leader in implantable medical devices mainly in the vascular and cardiovascular disease areas with an outstanding reputation for quality and service. Their products have saved the lives, or enhanced the quality of life of millions of patients in hundreds of countries around the world.

The Global Vice President Regulatory is a highly important and strategically important hire for the organisation. As the title indicates, the role will be truly global and leads the Regulatory function throughout the world.

With an excellent background in regulatory affairs at a senior level (VP or Director), you will be an individual with a global mindset and experience with Class III device regulatory affairs management and leadership. Knowledge of FDA submissions is essential, but you will also need to have knowledge of competent authorities in other jurisdictions. In addition to your strong knowledge of all aspects of Regulatory Affairs it is essential that you are have excellent communication skills to work across a range of cultures and job functions both internally and externally. The ability to build strongly functioning relationships with external bodies is a highly important part of this role, and you will be able to provide evidence of how you have worked effectively with partner organisations and stakeholders in your current/previous positions.

There will be a high requirement for travel, and you will be someone that is comfortable with this, and while you could initially be based in either anywhere in the United States or Europe you should ideally be open to the prospect of relocation to one of the company’s international facilities.
